The Amazon is one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet.
Therefore, its resources are exploited to meet the needs of our society.
For some years the town of Tamshiyacu has been aggressively deforested, installing monocultures and threatening the biodiversity of the place.
For this reason, through the conservation and reforestation of trees, Ni Meraya seeks to recover and conserve some of the ecological processes that have been lost in this ecosystem.
Donate what you can
Through a free donation, you can support us in the implementation of our projects, conservating and recovering of endangered varieties of fauna and flora. Your contribution will also be foundamental for continuing reforestation activities and all the initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of the territory carried out in collaboration with the local community.
Sponsor a tree
We have decided to divide the ACP plants into three categories:
Peques, Sabi@s, Ancestr@s. As a community in which young people, wise adults and ancestors exchange knowledge, share resources and live together.
We are also part of this same community, we are all connected.
Taking care of plants is taking care of ourselves.
Peques
Young trees that will be planted inside the Ni Meraya to enrich the ecosystem. The species have been identified through a study to comply with the development lines of the ACP.
Sabi@s
Medium-sized trees already withinNi Meraya and that they need to be protected, preventing them from being felled and doing all the conservation activities necessary for the well-being of the ecosystem.
Ancestr@s
Native trees of the Peruvian Amazon that are in danger of extinction or no longer exist. Ni Meraya seeks and plants new seeds and seedlings to restore the Forest to its original inhabitants.
