Ni Meraya

The magic of the Amazon

Ni Meraya is a non-profit association that manages a private forest located in the Peruvian Amazon Forest, Loreto Region, Fernando Lores district.

The area measures 18 hectares, of which 13.18 are recognized as a Private Conservation Area by the Ministry of the Environment of Peru.

Our mission

Ni Meraya was born with the purpose of protecting the Amazon: its flora, its fauna and, especially, its magic. As a Private Conservation Area (ACP), we are committed to safeguarding and preserving the vital elements of this ecosystem and promoting sustainable relationships between people and nature.

Our vision

We aim to help people form authentic connections with the Amazon, motivating them to protect and preserve it. Growing the Ni Meraya community will allow us to preserve the magic of this ecosystem and create a positive impact on our planet through conservation and reforestation efforts.

Our values

Human development can only be sustainable if it involves living in harmony with nature. Therefore, we think it’s important to relearn how we interact with the environment, approach the magic of the jungle with curiosity and respect, and ensure the protection of amazonian communities living in synergy with the ecosystem.
