Ni Meraya
The magic of the Amazon
Ni Meraya is a non-profit association that manages a private forest located in the Peruvian Amazon Forest, Loreto Region, Fernando Lores district.
The area measures 18 hectares, of which 13.18 are recognized as a Private Conservation Area by the Ministry of the Environment of Peru.
Our mission
Ni Meraya was born with the purpose of protecting the Amazon: its flora, its fauna and, especially, its magic. As a Private Conservation Area (ACP) we seek to care for and preserve the elements that give life to this ecosystem and promote sustainable relationships between people and nature.
Our vision
We want people to have real connections with Amazon that motivate them to protect and conserve it. By adding new members to the Ni Meraya family we will be able to preserve the magic of this ecosystem and generate a positive impact on our planet through conservation and reforestation.
Our values
Human development, to be sustainable, requires living in harmony with nature. For this reason, we need to learn the way we relate to the environment again, recognize the magic of the jungle with curiosity and respect, and always protect our communities.
